WHAT TO EXPECT
The status of the requested URL, whether it uses HTTPS, how many redirects it followed, response time, and the content type of the returned document.
AnHot fetches the public URL with an IP-locked client. It records HTTP status, redirects and the final URL after any redirects, then parses the returned HTML (when available).
Detection reads signals such as meta names, generator tags, script paths, cookies and header fingerprints. It can confirm common frameworks and platform markers, but cannot see server-side internals or components that leave no public signal.
Essential checks cover whether the page provides a title, description, canonical, robots meta, Open Graph tags and a valid viewport when a full document is retrieved. They are starting signals, not a ranking guarantee.
This tool performs a safe, read-only fetch of public content. It does not probe headers, endpoints, authentication, certificates beyond TLS negotiation, or application logic, so it cannot judge security posture.
If the document could not be retrieved as HTML, SEO and technology sections are left empty rather than guessed. A value labelled "unknown" means no reliable public signal was found, not that the feature is absent.
SITE TESTER FAQ
It fetches the public URL and reports HTTP status, whether HTTPS is used, the number of redirects, response time, content type, detectable technologies and a set of essential SEO signals.
No. Detection relies on publicly visible signals such as meta tags, script and resource paths, cookies and header fingerprints. Anything a site keeps server-side or behind a login cannot be detected.
It makes a single request similar to a normal page load. It does not submit forms, follow destructive actions or store anything on the target site.
No. It is a read-only fetch of public content. It does not test endpoints, authentication, TLS details, or the full HTTP response-header surface, so it cannot assess overall security.
No. Website Test runs without registration or login. There is a per-client rate limit to protect the shared service.
Labels reflect how concrete the evidence is. "High" means a strong, specific public marker; "medium" is a probable match; "low" is a possible match flagged to avoid overconfident claims. Check the evidence line for details.
