These are visual browser checks, not manufacturer certification, professional calibration or repair diagnosis.

A focused five-step check

  1. 01

Compare temperature resistance: PLA is lowest, ABS and PETG tolerate more heat.

  2. 02

Assess strength and impact: PETG and ABS outperform PLA for functional parts.

  3. 03

Check chemical and moisture resistance for the environment the part lives in.

  4. 04

Factor in enclosure needs: ABS warps without an enclosure, PETG and PLA do not.

  5. 05

Match the filament to the nozzle and hotend temperature ceiling on your printer.

GOOD TO KNOW

AnHot does not fabricate specs — temperatures come from manufacturer profiles and the sources listed on each filament page.
